Invitation for Electrical Metering Bids – UPDATED

Notice is hereby given that The Town of Bargersville, Johnson County, Indiana will receive sealed bids for “Electric Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI)” until 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Friday, March 6, 2020, in the Office of the Clerk Treasurer, 24 N. Main Street, PO Box 420, Bargersville, IN 46106. Bids will then be opened publicly and read aloud in the boardroom at the Town Hall, 24 N. Main Street, at the Town Council meeting held March 10, 2020, at 7:00 pm. No late bids will be accepted. Bids received after such time will be returned unopened.

The Town of Bargersville seeks bids from experienced, qualified vendor companies that specialize in supplying fully automated electric meter reading systems to local governments, municipalities, and/or private entities with similar project scope and size to the Town. The proposed system must meet the Town’s functional and business requirements, must have no single point of failure, and must be resilient to certain environmental considerations described in the Bid Package. The Town intends to select a single vendor solution that meets the Town’s electric meter reading automation requirements.
