Connection of New Residential Electric Service
To establish new residential electric service with Bargersville Utilities a deposit of $100.00 is required.

MANDATORY FORM FOR ALL UTILITY SERVICE CONNECTIONS - The following form MUST be executed by the owner of the property where service is being requested, or the authorized representative for the owner, and submitted with your application for utility service.

Reconnection of Disconnected Electric Service Due to Non-Payment
Before utility service is disconnected, a past due notice with the date on which disconnection will occur and amount of reconnection fee shall be mailed to the customer. The failure to receive a bill does not exempt the customer from monthly payment, late charges, or disconnection. If the past due bill is not in the utility office the day stated on the disconnection notice, the utility service will be disconnected.
Per Ordinance NO. 2009-7 the Bargersville Electric Utility will have non-recurring charges as follows:Reconnection fee is $50.00
Reconnection will only be done during office hours. There will be no after hours reconnection. There will be no reconnection until the past due utility bill and the reconnection fee is paid in full in advance.
Reconnection after a bad check
Reconnection will only be done during office hours. There will be no after hours reconnection. There will be no reconnection until the past due utility bill, the first reconnection fee of ($50.00) the second reconnection fee ($100.00) and the bad check fee charge of ($35.00) are paid in full, in advance, in cash or money order.

To establish new commercial electric service with Bargersville Utilities a deposit equal to a three (3) months average power usage is required.
